Finnish mobile communications company Nokia (NYSE: NOK) said on Thursday (28 June) that Rambler.ru portal, one of the largest Russian Internet services and e-mail providers, has chosen Nokia Intellisync Wireless Email as its mobile e-mail platform.
With the Nokia solution Rambler will offer mobile e-mail, calendar, contacts and task synchronisation services to its more than 20 million subscribers.
The integration of Nokia Intellisync Wireless Email solution into Rambler.ru's services portfolio is being handled by Borlas Consulting Group.
Nokia said that the service will be available as a standard application during the second half of 2007.
Nokia, headquartered in Espoo in Finland, is a global mobile phone and network equipment manufacturer. It has nearly 59,000 employees worldwide. Nokia is listed on the Helsinki, Stockholm, Frankfurt and New York stock exchanges.
