Nokia to provide mobile e-mail platform in Hong Kong

Finnish telecomms solutions provider Nokia (NYSE: NOK) said on Tuesday (5 June) that it has signed an agreement with the Hong Kong-based mobile carrier PCCW mobile to provide the mobile e-mail platform for the carrier's mobile business services for Hong Kong.
The Nokia Intellisync solution will allow PCCW mobile to offer secure, easy-to-use mobile e-mail to its business and consumer customers under its own brand, Nokia said.
The service, branded as 'PUSH eMail', will be available in June 2007.
No financial information was provided.
Nokia, headquartered in Espoo in Finland, is a global mobile phone and network equipment manufacturer. It has nearly 59,000 employees worldwide. Nokia is listed on the Helsinki, Stockholm, Frankfurt and New York stock exchanges.
