Swedish industrial productivity solutions provider Atlas Copco AB said on Friday (25 May) that it has divested 1.21m shares of the US equipment rental company RSC Holdings Inc in connection with RSC Holdings' IPO and listing on the NYSE.

The divestment will result in a net capital gain of approximately SEK130m.

Atlas Copco retains 11.96m shares, or 11.6%, of RSC Holdings.

Atlas Copco, headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden, is a leading provider of industrial systems, equipment and services. The group has 25,900 employees and reported revenues of SEK51bn in 2006. Atlas Copco is listed on the Nordic Exchange in Stockholm.

One British pound (GBP) is worth approximately 13.40 Swedish kronor (SEK).
