Axel Johnson AB invests in home textiles company Himla AB

Swedish investor Novax, part of Axel Johnson AB, said on Tuesday (8 May) that it has invested in a 33% stake in the home textiles company Himla AB.

The investment will provide the necessary capital for the further expansion of Himla.

No further details were disclosed.

Axel Johnson, headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden, is a privately-owned trading and investment group which includes Axel Johnson International, Servera, Svensk BevakningsTjanst and Ahlens, as well as the partly-owned listed companies Axfood and Mekonomen. The companies is Axel Johnson have a total of some 17,000 employees and an annual turnover of approximately SEK50bn.

One British pound (GBP) is worth approximately 13.40 Swedish kronor (SEK).
