The Swedish company ESML Intressenter AB announced on Tuesday (13 November) a cash offer for the security company Securitas Direct AB.
ESML Intressenter, a company owned by the investors EQT, SakI AB, Melker Schorling AB and Investment AB Latour, is offering SEK26 per share, which represents a 25% premium compared to the closing price on 12 November. The offer values Securitas Direct at approximately SEK9.6bn,
Securitas Direct, headquartered in Malmo, Sweden, was demerged from Securitas AB in 2006. The company provides security services to homes and small businesses, and reported net sales of over SEK3.3bn in 2006. Securitas Direct is listed on the OMX Nordic Exchange in Stockholm.
One British pound (GBP) is worth approximately 13.33 Swedish kronor (SEK).
