The Finnish textiles and clothing company Marimekko Corporation said on Tuesdsay (20 November) that it has signed a license agreement with the fashion chain H&M Hennes & Mauritz AB.
Under the agreement Marimekko licenses some of its popular patterns from the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s to H&M's summer collection 2008.
The collection of around 50 products will be sold in H&M stores in 28 countries.
H&M Hennes & Mauritz, headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden, is an international clothes and cosmetics chain with nearly 40,400 employees in 28 countries. H&M is listed on the OMX Nordic Exchange in Stockholm.
Marimekko is a leading Finnish textile and clothing design company. The company is listed on the OMX Nordic Exchange in Helsinki.
