Finnish media group Alma Media Corporation said on Wednesday (28 November) that its Marketplaces business unit continues to expand internationally and will open a home and real estate portal called City24 in Croatia.
City24 is already in operation in the Baltic countries, Russia, Poland and Ukraine. Measured by the number of visitors, it is one of the leading home and real estate portals in Europe.
After the service in Croatia is running, Alma Media intends to launch the City24 home portal in Bulgaria and other Adriatic Sea countries.
Alma Media, headquartered in Helsinki, Finland, is an international media group focusing on newspapers and online media. The company reported net sales of EUR302m in 2006. Alma Media is listed on the OMX Nordic Exchange in Helsinki.
One British pound (GBP) is worth approximately 1.39 euros (EUR).
