Swedish high-tech group Sectra AB said on Friday (9 November) that it has received a four-year contract for secure communications systems from the Dutch ministry of the interior and kingdom relations.
The contract covers Sectra's new Tiger service, and will be used to safeguard voice communications between ministers, undersecretaries and other senior officials. The delivery includes Tiger products for secure mobile and fixed voice communications, operation and security administration, as well as support and training.
The contract is valued at EUR2m.
Sectra, headquartered in Linkoping, Sweden, develops and sells medical systems and secure communication systems. The company has operations in eleven countries, and reported sales of SEK673m in the financial year 2006/2007. Sectra is listed on the OMX Nordic Exchange in Stockholm.
One British pound (GBP) is worth approximately 1.44 euros (EUR). One British pound (GBP) is worth approximately 13.33 Swedish kronor (SEK).
