Swedish IP header compression software developer Effnet AB, a subsidiary of Effnet Holding AB, said on Tuesday (16 October) that it has signed a licence agreement with the UK-based satellite communication equipment and solutions supplier Paradise Datacom Ltd, part of Intelek Plc.
The agreement grants Paradise Datacom a production licence for Effnet's IP header compression software, and allows the company to integrate the software into its satellite modems for more efficient delivery of IP based services.
The agreement strengthens Effnet's position within the satellite industry.
"We are very pleased to strengthen our position as a supplier to the satellite industry and this is an important step in our continued efforts to build a portfolio of long-term contracts with recurring revenue streams," commented Hans Runesten, managing director of Effnet and CEO of Effnet Holding.
Effnet, headquartered in Bromma in Sweden, develops and sells embedded software that increases the efficiency, speed and quality of IP traffic in fixed, mobile and satellite networks. The company is listed on the Nordic alternative market First North.
