Swedish business travel services provider Ark Travel AB said on Monday (22 October) that the global travel management provider Carlson Wagonlit Travel has made an offer for all shares of the company.
The offer, made through a Swedish subsidiary, amounts to SEK67 in cash per share, representing a premium of 26%.
Ark Travel's board of directors recommends shareholders to accept the offer, and shareholders representing over 50% of the share capital of Ark Travel have already undertaken to accept the offer.
Ark Travel, headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden, is a full-service travel agency specialising in business travel.
Carlson Wagonlit Travel is a world leader in business travel management with operations in 140 countries. The company is co-owned by the French group Accor and US-based Carlson Companies Inc.
One British pound (GBP) is worth approximately 13.16 Swedish kronor (SEK).
