Swedish construction group Peab AB announced on Monday (22 October) that it has won a turnkey construction contract in Stockholm, Sweden from Deamatris Forvaltnings AB.
The contract, valued at SEK302m, covers the building of flats, offices and stores at Ostermalmstorg in central Stockholm.
The project is scheduled for completion in October 2009.
Peab, headquartered in Forslov, Sweden, is one of the Nordic region's construction and civil engineering groups. The company has some 12,000 employees in Sweden, Finland and Norway, and has an annual turnover of over SEK30bn. Peab is listed on the OMX Nordic Exchange in Stockholm.
One British pound (GBP) is worth approximately 13.16 Swedish kronor (SEK).
