Norwegian real-time search solutions provider Fast Search & Transfer ASA (FAST) said on Monday (10 September) that it has secured a search platform contract from the global technology services company EDS (NYSE:EDS).
The contract covers the deployment of FAST's enterprise search platform FAST ESP.
The value of the contract was not disclosed, but according to FAST it is based on software licence and maintenance fees.
Fast Search & Transfer, headquartered in Oslo, Norway, is a global provider of real-time data search solutions with offices on six continents. The company has some 60 engineers and annual revenues of USD162m. Fast Search & Transfer is listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange and traded under the ticker FAST.
One British pound (GBP) is worth approximately 2.02 US dollars (USD).
