Norwegian real-time search solutions provider Fast Search & Transfer ASA (FAST) announced on Wednesday (19 September) that it has signed a search platform agreement with the recently established Japanese e-commerce company Cau-ichi.

The agreement covers the deployment of the FAST ESP enterprise search platform.

The value of the agreement was not disclosed, but FAST said that it will receive fees from software licences, and maintenance and professional services.

Fast Search & Transfer, headquartered in Oslo, Norway, is a global provider of real-time data search solutions with offices on six continents. The company has some 60 engineers and annual revenues of USD162m. Fast Search & Transfer is listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange and traded under the ticker FAST.

One British pound (GBP) is worth approximately 2.01 US dollars (USD).
