Swedish IT consulting group Sigma AB said on Thursday (27 September) that it has won a SEK18m IT administration contract from the pharmaceutical group AstraZeneca in Sweden.
The contract covers the administration of AstraZeneca's IT systems in Sodertalje, Molndal and Lund.
Sigma also said that it is in talks regarding a similar contract with AstraZeneca in the UK.
Sigma is headquartered in Gothenburg, Sweden. The company has 1,300 employees in Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Germany, France, Hungary, the US, China and Ukraine. Sigma is listed on the OMX Nordic Exchange in Stockholm.
One British pound (GBP) is worth approximately 13.20 Swedish kronor (SEK).
