Swedish industrial productivity solutions provider Atlas Copco AB (OMX Stockholm:ATCO A) (OMX Stockholm:ATCO B) announced on Thursday (10 April) that it has opened a new customer centre in Bangladesh.
The new centre will offer Atlas Copco and CP Chicago Pneumatic branded compressors and other Atlas Copco products and services and has initially 20 employees.
Atlas Copco has previously been represented in Bangladesh through distributors, but the new customer centre will better meet the needs of the growing local market for compressors.
Atlas Copco, headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden, is a leading provider of industrial productivity solutions, such as compressed air and gas equipment, generators, construction and mining equipment, industrial tools and assembly systems. The group has 33,000 employees worldwide and reported revenue of SEK63bn in 2007.
One British pound (GBP) is worth approximately 11.92 Swedish kronor (SEK).
