Norwegian transport company Tide ASA (OSE:TIDE) said on Friday (25 April) that its subsidiary Tide Buss AS has won a five-year bus transport contract in Odense, Denmark.

The contract, won in stiff competition with international operators such as Arriva and Pan Bus/Deutsche Bahn, covers some 3.8m kilometres annually and is valued at DKK115m per year.

Tide, headquartered in Bergen, Norway, is one of Norway's largest transport companies with operations within public transport and travel. The group has 3,500 employees and operates a fleet of 1,000 buses and 80 ferries and coastal vessels. Tide has an annual turnover of some NOK2.8bn.

One British pound (GBP) is worth approximately 9.34 Danish kroner (DKK). One British pound (GBP) is worth approximately 9.91 Norwegian kroner (NOK).
