Swedish sheet metal products manufacturer Lindab International AB said on Wednesday (2 April) that the Comfort division of its Ventilation business area has received a EUR1m equipment order in the UK.

The order, awarded by Skanska, covers the delivery of chilled beams (climate systems) to extension and refurbishing projects at the Barts and Royal London hospitals in London.

Lindab won the order in cooperation with its partner Frenger Systems Ltd.

The equipment will be delivered in 2008 and 2009.

Lindab, headquartered in Grevie, Sweden, develops and manufactures sheet metal products and system solutions for the construction sector. The group has 5,000 employees in 30 countries and reported sales of SEK9.28bn in 2007. Lindab is listed on the OMX Nordic Exchange in Stockholm.

One British pound (GBP) is worth approximately 1.26 euros (EUR). One British pound (GBP) is worth approximately 11.85 Swedish kronor (SEK).
