Swedish web publishing platforms developer EPiServer AB said on Thursday (3 April) that it has agreed to acquire the digital communities developer Netstar AB for an undisclosed sum.
Netstar, based in Stockholm, Sweden, is a leading Nordic developer of digital communities with 13 employees and a turnover of SEK10m. The company's customers include the Swedish TV broadcaster Sveriges Television, Tasteline, the radio broadcaster Sveriges Radio, Egmont, the Danish radio broadcaster Danmarks Radio and Netdoktor.
EPiServer, headquartered in Kista, Sweden, develops the web publishing solution EPiServer CMS, currently used on over 4,500 web sites worldwide. The company has offices in the Nordic countries, India and the UK. EPiServer is privately owned.
One British pound (GBP) is worth approximately 11.85 Swedish kronor (SEK).
