Norwegian composite products developer Hexagon Composites ASA (OSE:HEX) said on Friday (4 April) that its wholly-owned subsidiary Ragasco AS has renewed its strategic agreement with BP Plc (LSE:BP) (NYSE:BP).
Under the agreement, initially signed in September 2003, BP will market and sell Ragasco's lightweight composite LPG containers through its distribution network in Europe. The containers are sold under the name BP Gas Light.
Hexagon Composites, headquartered in Alesund, Norway, develops and manufactures advanced composite (fibre-reinforced plastic) products. The company has operations in Norway and the US, and reported sales of NOK600m in 2007.
One British pound (GBP) is worth approximately 10.15 Norwegian kroner (NOK).
