Norwegian engineering, construction and technology group Aker Kvaerner ASA (OSE:AKVER) said on Friday (4 April) that it will adopt its new name, Aker Solutions ASA, from Tuesday 8 April.
The company remains listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange under the new name and with the new ticker (OSE:AKSO).
Aker Kvaerner/Aker Solutions, headquartered in Oslo, Norway, operates within oil & gas, refining & chemicals, mining & metals and power generation. The group has some 24,000 employees in 30 countries and has annual revenue of NOK58bn. The company's largest shareholder is the Norwegian holding group Aker ASA (40.27%).
One British pound (GBP) is worth approximately 10.15 Norwegian kroner (NOK).
