Swedish IT and infrastructure consultant Thalamus Networks AB (OMX Stockholm: THAL B) announced on Friday (4 April) that it has agreed to sell its subsidiary Fiberdata Integration AB to Rivermen AB, part of Sweden Carnica Group.
The sales price was not disclosed, but according to Thalamus Networks the transaction will result in a loss of approximately SEK4m.
The divestment is part of Thalamus Networks' strategy to streamline its operations and to focus on consulting.
Thalamus Networks, headquartered in Bromma, Sweden, provides IT infrastructure consulting, IT operating and help desk services. The company has 120 employees and reported a turnover of SEK275m in 2007.
One British pound (GBP) is worth approximately 11.85 Swedish kronor (SEK).
