NCC builds new pedagogical department at Uppsala University

Swedish construction group NCC said on Wednesday (20 February) that its unit NCC Construction Sweden has landed a SEK180m contract to build a new pedagogical institution, Pedagogikum, for Uppsala University in Uppsala, Sweden.
The contract, awarded by Akademiska Hus, covers the construction of four separate buildings of a total of 25,500 square metres.
The project is scheduled for completion by November 2009.
NCC, headquartered in Solna, Sweden, is a leading Nordic construction and property development group. The company has 21,000 employees and an annual turnover of SEK58bn. NCC is listed on the OMX Nordic Exchange in Stockholm.
One British pound (GBP) is worth approximately 12.46 Swedish kronor (SEK).
