Global IT outsourcing giant EDS (NYSE: EDS) announced on Wednesday (16 January) that it has secured a three-year contract from the Swedish spirits company V&S Group.
The contract, which can be extended by two additional years, covers the operation of V&S Group's IT systems in 11 countries, and is worth an estimated SEK100m.
EDS will provide services within managed work environment, server management and web hosting.
EDS, headquartered in Plano, Texas, is a leading global technology services provider with an annual turnover of USD21.3bn.
One British pound (GBP) is worth approximately 12.45 Swedish kronor (SEK). One British pound (GBP) is worth approximately 1.96 US dollars (USD).
