Norwegian-controlled Bermuda-based ship owning company Ship Finance International Limited (NYSE: SFL) said on Thursday (31 January) that it has received long-term time charters for two 1700 TEU container vessels from a regional liner company in Asia.

The 12-year charters for the 2005-built vessels Sea Alfa and Sea Beta are worth approximately USD117.4m.

Ship Finance, headquartered in Hamilton, Bermuda, is shipowner with a fleet of 69 vessels. The company is listed on the York Stock Exchange and traded under the ticker SFL.

One British pound (GBP) is worth approximately 1.98 US dollars (USD).
