Swedish construction group NCC (OMX Stockholm: NCC A) (OMX Stockholm: NCC B) said on Monday (16 June) that its unit NCC Construction has received a SEK200m assignment to upgrade the area around the Vinterstadion and Behrn Arena in Orebro, Sweden.
The assignment comprises construction of a new stand on the eastern side of Behrn Arena and an enclosure of the bandy arena, renovation of the ice hockey hall and construction of a new indoor car park and a number of commercial premises and offices, NCC said.
The project is expected to take two years to complete.
NCC, headquartered in Solna, Sweden, is one of the Nordic region's leading construction and property development companies. The group has 21,000 employees and reported sales of SEK58bn in 2007.
One British pound (GBP) is worth approximately 11.85 Swedish kronor (SEK).
