The Swedish-Japanese mobile phone maker Sony Ericsson announced on Tuesday (17 June) its new gaming mobile phone, the new Sony Ericsson F305 with Motion Gaming.
The F305 has horizontal gameplay and dedicated gaming controls lets the user control the action with a swing or a swipe of the phone.
Using advanced motion sensor technology, the phone can, for example, follow users' actions to imitate bowling or casting a fishing line, the company added.
The company said that there is also now a new accessory, Power Pack CPP-100, which gives instant battery power boost.
Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications AB is a joint venture of Ericsson and the Japanese electronics company Sony. It is headquartered in London in the UK and has some 7,000 employees worldwide.
Ericsson is headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden. Its equipment is used in more than 1,000 networks in 140 countries, and 40% of the world's mobile calls are made through Ericsson systems. The company is listed on the Nordic Exchange in Stockholm and its shares are also traded on the London Stock Exchange and on Nasdaq.
