Finnish high-tech real estate company Technopolis Plc (OMX Helsinki: TPS1V) said on Monday (23 June) that it will invest an estimated EUR33.3m in the development of the first stage of the Yliopistonrinne technology centre in Tampere, Finland.

The 19,200-square metre technology centre is located near University of Tampere in central Tampere.

The first stage is scheduled for completion in February 2010.

Technopolis, headquartered in Oulu, Finland, is a property company specialised in providing operating environments for high tech companies. The company has 142 employees and reported net sales of EUR57m in 2007.

One British pound (GBP) is worth approximately 1.27 euros (EUR).
