Norwegian real-time search solutions provider Fast Search & Transfer ASA (FAST) said on Monday (31 March) that it has signed a search platform contract with the US information and business solutions provider LexisNexis.
The contract covers the deployment of FAST's enterprise search platform FAST ESP.
The value of the contract was not disclosed, but FAST said that it is based on software licence and maintenance fees.
FAST, headquartered in Oslo, Norway, is a leading data search solutions developer with some 750 employees and annual sales of USD162m. The company is currently in the process of being acquired by Microsoft. FAST is listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange and traded under the ticker FAST.
One British pound (GBP) is worth approximately 2.00 US dollars (USD).
