Finnish oil refining and marketing company Neste Oil Corporation (OMX Helsinki: NES1V) announced on Friday (16 May) that it has signed partnership agreements within the packaging, transportation and warehousing of lubrication oils and car chemicals.
The agreements signed with ADR-Haanpaa Oy (bulk warehousing and transportation), Etela-Suomen Logistiikkatalo Oy (warehousing) and Setynoil Oy (packaging) are part of Neste Oil's ongoing restructuring of its lubrication oil business.
Neste Oil said in 2007 that the restructuring of the lubrication oil business could affect up to 45 employees, but the company now believes that it will be able to place all or most of the affected employees elsewhere within the company.
Neste Oil, headquartered in Espoo, Finland, comprises the divisions Oil Refining, Renewable Fuels, Speciality Products, Oil Retail and Shipping. The company has 4,800 employees and reported sales of EUR12.1bn in 2007.
One British pound (GBP) is worth approximately 1.26 euros (EUR).
