Nordic private equity investor Accent Equity Partners said on Wednesday (7 May) that its fund Accent Equity 2008 has agreed to acquire the Nordic Shelter Solutions Group (NSS Group).

NSS Group is the leading North European developer and provider of comprehensive solutions for covering, sheltering and warehousing needs. The group sells and rents warehouse, production and sports halls, protective tarpaulins, weather shelters and protection product, as well as party tents, lumber hoods and rolls. NSS Group is represented in the Nordic countries, Germany, Russia, the Baltic countries and Poland. The group has 125 employees and an annual turnover of SEK600m.

Accent Equity 2008 is acquiring NSS Group in partnership with the group's management from a consortium led by Helmet Business Mentors.

The financial details of the acquisition were not disclosed.

Accent Equity, headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden, is a leading lower mid-market private equity specialist investing in buyout and later-stage expansion capital transactions in the Nordic region. The company advises funds with a total capital of some SEK10bn.

One British pound (GBP) is worth approximately 11.97 Swedish kronor (SEK).
