Finnish-Swedish IT group TietoEnator Corporation (OMX Helsinki:TIE) said on Friday (9 May) that the Chairman of it's board of directors, Matti Lehti, has informed the company that he will resign from the board due to health reasons.
The board's current Deputy Chairman, Anders Ullberg, has been appointed as the new chairman, along with board member Olli Riikkala as deputy chairman as of 8 May 2008.
The reason for Matti Lehti's resignation reflects his need to reduce the amount of work due to a mild coronary thrombosis that he suffered last year, TietoEnator said.
TietoEnator is an IT group in Europe, with over 15,000 employees in more than 25 countries.
