Swedish IT and management consultant HiQ International AB (OMX Stockholm:HIQ) said on Thursday (27 November) that it has been commissioned to "establish a new IT strategy" for the Swedish national post and telecommunications agency, PTS.
"PTS is facing increased requirements from various stakeholders for IT-based services and business processes. The new strategy shall result in an action plan with recommendations for how PTS will work on these matters over the coming three to five years," HiQ said.
No financial details were disclosed.
HiQ International, headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden, provides consulting services within communications, software development and simulation technology. The company has over 1,200 employees in the Nordic countries and Eastern Europe and reported a turnover of SEK973.7m in 2007.
One British pound (GBP) is worth approximately 12.30 Swedish kronor (SEK).
