Norwegian broadcast graphics company Vizrt Ltd (OSE:VIZ) said on Wednesday (25 September) that its subsidiary Escenic has, together with CCI Europe, received a contract to create a multimedia newsroom for the Canadian newspaper The Globe and Mail.
The system, which will support both print and online operations, will include Escenic's publishing modules Escenic Content Engine and Escenic Content Studio.
No financial details were disclosed.
Vizrt, headquartered in Bergen, Norway, is a leading provider of real-time broadcast graphics systems. Its products are used by leading media companies, including CNN, CBS, Fox, BBC, Sky, ITN, ZDF, Star TV, TV Today, CCTV and NHK. The company has some 365 employees and reported revenues of USD86.5m in 2007.
One British pound (GBP) is worth approximately 1.86 US dollars (USD).
