Swedish engineering solutions group Alfa Laval AB (OMX Stockholm:ALFA) said on Monday (29 September) that it has won an order for three thermal evaporation systems from Vedanta Aluminum Ltd in India.

The SEK150m order is part of a plant expansion project.

The thermal evaporation systems will be used to recycle caustic.

Alfa Laval, headquartered in Lund, Sweden is a leading supplier of heat transfer, centrifugal separation and fluid handling systems. The group has some 11,500 employees worldwide and reported sales of SEK25bn in 2007.

One British pound (GBP) is worth approximately 12.16 Swedish kronor (SEK).
