Finnish airline Finnair Plc (OMX Helsinki:FIA1S) said today that it will use an Airbus A330-300 from its own fleet to operate a seasonal leisure service from Helsinki to Phuket in Thailand.
The nonstop flight will run four days per week from November 2009 to April 2010.
The corresponding leisure service last winter used an Airbus A330-200 leased from outside the group and was operated six days per week.
The 271-seat wide-bodied aircraft to be used for the Phuket service this winter is one of Finnair's five long-haul Airbus A330-300s.
