New Gray Eagle Named

RAdm. James I. Maslowslu, above left, Naval Aviation's Gray Eagle since March 2000, passed the title to VAdm. Arthur K. Cebrowski during a ceremony at the Naval War College in Newport, R.I., on 20 December 2000. The Venerable Order of the Gray Eagle is held by the Naval Aviator who has been on active duty the longest.

Cebrowski, president of the Naval War College, received his wings of gold on 1 December 1965. He has logged more than 4,000 hours flying aircraft such as the F-4 Phantom II and F-14 Tomcat during his 37-year naval career.
