A VFA-151 Sailor was recovered off the coast of southern California after spending more than seven hours in the Pacific Ocean. The Sailor was blown off the flight deck of Constellation (CV 64) near midnight from the jet blast of an EA-6B Prowler he had walked behind. The incident was reported and rescue operations began immediately.
