Mission

Provides responsive forward presence and decisive air and space power. Plans, conducts, controls, coordinates and supports air and space operations to achieve U.S. and NATO objectives based on taskings assigned by the U.S. European Command commander.

Responsibilities

Supports U.S. military plans and operations in Europe, Greenland, Iceland, the Azores, Russia, the Middle East, Africa, the Mediterranean, Caspian Sea and more than half of the Atlantic Ocean, spanning 20.5 million square miles and 93 countries from the northern tip of Greenland to the eastern tip of Russia, to the southern tip of Africa.
