Saying Farewell

Staff Sgt. Scott Berrier, force protection with the 621st Air Mobility Operations Group, McGuire Air Force Base, N.J., says farewell to his son before deploying for Operation Enduring Freedom. The Enduring Freedom mission remains unchanged, said Army Gen. Tommy Franks, U.S. Central Command commander: "To hunt down and destroy terrorist cells inside Afghanistan, to work with the transitional government to prevent the reintroduction of would-be terrorist activity into Afghanistan, continue to train the Afghan National Army, and continue to work with Afghans to help build a defense organization."
