1959-45 Years Ago

A crew member from USS Tutuila (ARG 4) was featured on the cover Of this issue of All Hands magazine. Inside, we featured an article about Tutuila's internal engine repair shop. Also featured was an overview Of the Navy's "mighty midget" minesweepers and a visit to USS Everglades (AD 24).

1986-18 Years Ago

In this edition of All Hands magazine, we looked at what it takes to become a naval flight engineer. In honor of National POWMIA Recognition Day, we gave an account of some of the first American POWs. We also payed a visit to the "Ageless Warrior," USS Coral Sea (CV 43), and Perth, Australia.

1992-12 Years Ago

The Navy said "No More" to sexual harassment. Inside we featured the Navy's plans to repair its image following the 1991 Tailhook scandal. We also featured professional athletes who got their start at the U.S. Naval Academy. We said goodye to Naval Facility Subic Bay, Republic of the Philippines, and said hello to Guam, as more than 1,200 Sailors and their families transferred to the island nation as a direct result of the Subic Bay closure.
