1962

1943

Office of Strategic Services Maritime Unit (OSS-MU) operator wearing the Lambertsen Amphibious Respiratory Unit (LARU) during training. OSS-MU men were the nation's first combat swimmers. Navy Underwater Demolition Team adopted their diving tactics and equipment during the post-war period.

1945

Mid-to-late 1950s
