LINK-Perspective magazine back in print as LINK
All Hands, Sept, 2006 by Teresa J. Frith
After nearly two years as an online-only publication, the former LINK-Perspective, the Navy Personnel Command's magazine for Navy members, is back in print as the new LINK magazine.
The first issue is already out and has been posted on the NPC Web site, www.npc.navy.mil.
"The new hard-copy LINK is a handy reference manual that complements our Web-based version to give Sailors the information they need to support and guide their careers," said RADM David A. Gove, commander, Navy Personnel Command and commander, Naval Personnel Development Command. "We learned from our polls that a hard-copy version was preferred by Sailors and would be of broader benefit to them."
LINK will be published three times per year, both hard-copy and online, and will feature articles on policies, procedures and products that will help Sailors enhance and guide their careers.
The magazine will continue to support both officers and enlisted Sailors, as well as contain informative articles that affect everyone's career. The upcoming September issue will be a special Selection Board issue.
Feedback can be sent to linkmagazine@navymil and the magazine can be accessed at: www.npc.navy.mil/ReferenceLibrary /Publications/LinkPerspective/.
