Killi - Shipmates - official recognition of services provided by explosives detection dog and handler Master-at-Arms 2nd Class Gabriel Vasquez - Brief Article

Killi, of the Security Department at Naval Station Rota, Spain, was recently recognized for his work as a patrol/explosives detection dog. Along with his handler, Master-at-Arms 2nd Class Gabriel Vasquez, Killi was tasked to travel to Romania for an explosives detection sweep in advance of a visit by Secretary of State Colin Powell.

Killi, as well as other working dog teams from Rota, travel throughout Europe and help provide force protection.
