All Hands, March, 2003
On the cover, BMC W. E. Coley, boss of the CINC-PACFLT boathouse at Pearl Harbor, and his assistant BM3 W.V. Meadows, checked mooring lines used by his trim craft on harbor runs. All Hands did a story on USS Greenwich Bay (AVP 41) which had just completed its 11th Persian Gulf cruise. We also looked at Sailors and their birthdays.
The story covered many cakes made by various ships, but the winner, with a cake weighing 3,000 pounds, was USS Leyte (CVS 32).
