Lieutenant Colonel Hammond is deputy director of strategic plans at Joint Force Headquarters, Massachusetts National Guard. Previous assignments include: commander, 211th Military Police Battalion; operations and training officer, 26th Infantry Brigade; executive officer, 181st Infantry Battalion; troop commander, 110th Cavalry Squadron; platoon leader, 972d Military Police Company; and other staff assignments.
