AGE 14 HOMETOWN Montgomery County, Ky., but he now lives in L.A. CLAIM TO FAME Jeremy is playing the boy who never grows up. Peter Pan hits theaters Christmas day. HE CAN FLY! "I auditioned for director P.J. Hogan, and he thought I was good, so he flew me to London to audition again to see how my physical action was.
I told my dad, 'I'm going to London and, when I come back, I'll have Peter Pan.' And I stuck by it, and here I am." A YEAR TO THE DAY. The director told Jeremy in person that he had gotten the part. "I have a picture P.J. drew of me as Peter Pan. He gave it to me and said, 'That's you. You're Peter Pan.' And you know what's funny? The day he drew the picture was June 6, 2002, the day I got the part. The day I wrapped from Peter Pan was June 6, 2003. Exactly a year." THE LOST BOYS "I grew up in a neighborhood with lots of kids. They're all my friends and we did everything together and I was the leader. I led them into doing things, where we'd go off these cliffs and do all this stuff. It was about six of them. I just got back from Kentucky and saw them for a while, and it was good. They're really proud of me." ON TO NEVERLAND Jeremy's work has taken him a long way from his Kentucky roots. Besides London, he's been to Australia and France. "The whole thing's been an adventure. It was fun." 'I DON'T WANNA GROW UP' "Grownups have to take care of their own taxes and stuff like that, and I don't want to do that. But the reason I would grow up is so I can drive and boss my kids around." Jeremy did tell us that if he could eliminate one grown-up rule, there would be no more grounding. Oh, and he'd like to fly off the Eiffel Tower. "That would be amazing."
