Going With The Flow

Girls' Life, Dec, 2001

Remember Brenna K., 18, in our A/M '01 article "Vertical Limit"? Well, she made the U.S. Kayak Team and won the Junior Women's World Championship in freestyle kayaking. What else is this adventurer up to? Here's an update in her own words....

The Worlds were in Sort, Spain, where traveled around with my Sister after the competition. I met tons of lends from all over the world-Norway, Spain, Holland, England, Ireland and more. I will try to keep in touch with all of them. I still plan to keep up with kayaking because I'm considered an automatic for the U.S. team's 2003 Worlds in Graz, Austria. I'm also getting back into ski racing to see how far I can go with that. And I picked up another hobby--horseback riding! I'm thinking about taking on the challenge of English Riding. Can't forget about school. I'll be at Montana State this spring, hopefully ski racing for them. Thanks so much, GL!
