If you go to school in Nebraska, you'd better brush up on "The Star-Spangled Banner." Why? Because it's the law. This old-school law, stating schools are responsible for teaching respect for the flag and the lyrics to patriotic songs, dates back to 1947 when Communism was a big scare. Now, following the Sept.

11 terrorist attacks, some are advocating enforcing the law and referencing it in school accreditation regulations. Says Education Commissioner Doug Christensen: "I don't think there's any harm in it." Probably not.
