What's CL Thinking?
Thanks for including your interview with Hilary Duff in the A/M '02 Hangin' With. I love her TV show and her new movie Cadet Kelly. However, when I was reading "What's Hilary Thinking?" I came across a tiny mistake. Her TV show is called Lizzie McGuire, not What's Lizzie Thinking?
Carolyn
Sorry about the mix-up, girls. Hilary's show was originally titled What's Lizzie Thinking? by Disney Channel. Oops!
Sibling Rivalry
"Trouble in Sibling Paradise" [A/M '02] really helped me deal with my li'l sibs. We used to fight all the time about stupid stuff But thanks to your article, my brother, sister and I haven't fought in a week-that's a huge step for us!

Ouch!
In GL Beauty's "Hair Today, Gone Tomorrow" [A/M '02], you mention Nad's as a way to remove body hair. My mom bought Nad's for me off the infomercial, and I used it. Let's just say it was not a pleasant experience. It was so painful to rip the strips off that I actually cried. Nad's removed all the hair, but it also left a red rash all over my legs.

Waxing can he painful, and we did mention that in the article as a downside. You know what they say: 'No pain, no gain."
Chill Out
I was psyched to get my new CL in the mail! I love the "Tell It, Don't Yell It" article [A/M '02]. It really helped me learn how to calm myself down during certain sitches. I recently broke up with my BF and, on the very same day, his best friend asked me out. I wanted to yell at him for being so inconsiderate but, thanks to your article, I held back.

Ch-Ch-Ch-Changes
"GL's Top 10 Most Personal Body Questions Answered" in the A/N4 '02 is the best! I'm so glad I'm not the only one who has one breast larger than the other or is terrified to use tampons. I feel better knowing all these changes are normal and I'm not facing them alone.

Boy Bashing?
I love your magazine, but I have a prob with your quiz "Can You Think Like Your Guy?" in A/M '02. How can all guys have the same opinions about things? Every guy is different and unique. Some guys might be very open about their feelings, while others might not. I feel this quiz discriminates against boys big time.

Simple Pimple Guide
Your GL Beauty Blast about preventing pimples [A/M '02] really helped. I play sports, so I sweat and break out. I showed my mom the article, and we bought some products you recommend. Now, my face looks better than ever.

Thank you for your article on banishing breakouts. I tried the tea tree oil blemish pads from The Body Shop on my super sensitive skin, and they really work! The pads clear up my pimples--and without leaving my face all red.

Friendly Advice
"When Friends Attack" [GL Friends, AIM '02] is great! Sometimes, I just don't know what to do or how to act when I get in fights with friends but, now I do, thanks to all your terrific tips.

When my friend stopped talking to me for no reason, I was going to just let it go. But after reading "When Friends Attack," I decided to talk with her about it instead. It turns out she thought I told everyone about her secret crush. Of course, I didn't, and now she believes me. We're closer than ever before.

In Memory
"Fight The Good Fight" [Short Stuff, A/M '02], featuring Miss Rolanda, really inspired me. I e-mailed her to tell her how great she is, but instead I got back some upsetting news. I learned that she had passed away shortly after her 18th birthday. I'm very sad to know someone as special and caring as Miss Rolanda won't be able to know the wonderful impact she had on girls everywhere.

We were just as upset as you when we found out Miss Rolanda had lost her fight with liver cancer. The Web site she created for kids who are--or have a loved one--fighting terminal illness is still up at www.faithandhealth.net/kidsplace. Now; 16-year-old artist Raena, who lost her dad, provides art instructions on the site for kids who are bedridden and bored (of course, you don't have to be on bed rest' to create some cool scratch art or yarn paintings). Be sure to click, on Poetry Gallery to be inspired by some poems Miss Rolanda wrote: In good or bad times, sunny or cloudy days, God will send one of his angels to wipe our tears away.
