A bylaw amendment to change the way CaICPA recommends members to AICPA Council Has passed by a narrow vote of 269 to 222. Polls opened March 1 and closed May 1 at m. The new amendment--Article XIV: Appointment and Nomination of AICPA Representatives--requires appointments and nominations to the AICPA Council to "be administered by the CaICPA Nomination and Leadership Development Committee."
